Nicole Machinski, Psy.D.
Dr. Nicole Machinski is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in forensic assessment and consultation. Dr. Machinski earned a Bachelors degree in psychology from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, PA. She then went on to earn Masters degrees in Clinical Psychology and Criminal Justice, as well as a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Widener University.
Dr. Machinski is skilled in psychological assessment, including cognitive and personality assessment with children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Machinski conducts individual psychotherapy with adolescents and adults. She utilizes a cognitive-behavioral approach to treatment, to empower her clients to make the desired changes in their lives.
During her doctoral training, and since that time, Dr. Machinski has had extensive experience conducting risk assessments with individuals involved in the legal system. One particular area of expertise is in the evaluation of persons who have engaged in inappropriate sexual behaviors. Dr. Machinski also performs psychological screening and assessment for police departments and other public safety agencies, including conducting fitness for duty evaluations and evaluations to assist in personnel selection and promotion.
